Search via Service Pro

JCB Service Pro is JCB Service's "one stop shop" for Owner, Repair and Maintenance information.
The types of publications that a JCB Service Pro user can access include:

  • Operator's Manuals
  • Service Manuals
  • Repair Time Schedules (RTS)
  • Service/Inspection Checklists
  • Electrical Schematics
  • Hydraulic Schematics 
  • Helpfiles
  • Lists of DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code)
  • Tools Catalogues

Not all documents on Service Pro are available to be printed or downloaded.
If you have entered a serial number in JCB Parts Plus+, clicking the JCB Service Pro icon should automatically link you to Service Pro.

Publications on Service Pro are updated dynamically and can be later versions than the printed and download files.


 

Searching for a machine (or its publications) in JCB Service Pro

1. Open JCB Service Pro. https://servicepro.jcb.com
2. Log in to your account.
3. Select a Vehicle – Enter a 17-Character VIN or a 7-Character Serial number.
Search for the serial number and return the related publications.
In the event that JCB Service Pro cannot find your VIN/Serial number or you do not know your VIN/Serial number, please use the "Select a Product" drop-down menus.


The link will take you to Service Pro to jcbpublications.com, from jcbpublications.com you can order a printed book or a pdf download.

The most effective search method is via Service Pro. https://servicepro.jcb.com
You can use the left hand filter menu to search via the following methods:

  • Publication Type
  • Language
  • Title
  • Publication Number
     

How can I narrow the results?

Use a combination of search types; Title – Language - Publication Type
If you know the publication number - search on that e.g. 9831/1400
If you know what type of publication you are searching for, make sure to select it from the filter menu on the left side of the page.
 

What happens if the product I’m searching for is not available?

If you entered in a search term and it returned zero results, try entering in different search criteria. If you still cannot find the product, Contact Customer Support.

When will I receive my order?

The system will not accept my credit card with the billing address I have entered.

Please use the correct billing address, usually the one that the credit card statement is mailed to. If you still have issues, contact Customer Support.

I have added items to my cart but cannot find how to check out.

After you have added items to your cart and are ready to check out, please click on the shopping cart icon then click "Proceed to Checkout," which will take you to the start of the checkout process.

What is Order Confirmation?

Order confirmation is an email receipt acknowledging your order. JCB assumes no responsibility for network or customer computer problems that may cause an order or credit card confirmation email to not reach the customer. If we receive any indication that email notification was unsuccessful, we will attempt to contact you on the e-mail you provide. You can also verify the confirmation of the order by accessing your order history.

How do I cancel an order?

Unfortunately submitted orders cannot be canceled. This site automatically processes an order the moment it is placed.

Can I return my order?

All technical information orders are produced through a Print on Demand (POD) process so returns will not be allowed unless the product is shipped due to an error by JCB. Please refer to our Return Policy & Sales Tax page for more information.

How can I find the status of my order?

To find the status of an order or to view your order history, click on Order History at the top of the page. You will need to provide your order number and email address to view past orders. To view more details about an order, click on the order number. To view the shipping status, click on the tracking number to go directly to the shipper’s status site.

Can I split my order to deliver to multiple locations?

At this time, an order can only be delivered to a single ship-to address. You will need to place separate orders for separate ship-to locations.

What are the quantity limits?

The maximum number of orders that can be placed per item is 99,999.

I would like to view the manual but not purchase one. Is this option available?

JCB information is available to be viewed online via Service Pro. Use your machines VIN number to view your operator’s manual online at no cost.

What information is included in a Service Manual? Refer to Service Pro to preview the content

Service manuals include the following information:

  • Component removal and installation instructions
  • Component disassemble and assemble instructions
  • Any information necessary to rebuild components
  • Special tools
  • Theory of operation
  • Diagnostics
  • Schematics
  • Component locations
  • Test and adjustments
  • Testing/diagnostic special tools
  • Specifications
     

What kind of payment options do you allow?

We accept Visa, MasterCard and PayPal

When is payment due?

Payment must be made at the time of order since most products are Print on Demand (POD). The customer must provide valid credit card account information. That information will be validated before an order is fulfilled. The support team will attempt to notify a customer by email if their credit card transaction cannot be successfully validated, and the customer order will be canceled. Prices are subject to change without notice and without incurring obligation.

Why is it that my credit card statement price is different from the price calculated by the currency converter?

Prices are set in GBP and that the EUR or USD prices could fluctuate slightly.

I received an error message on the screen. What should I do?

If you can reproduce the problem, send the error message text to Customer Support. We will then pass the information on to our team to try to determine the cause of your problem.

What software do I need to preview the PDF files?

Most technical documents that are available for preview are Adobe Acrobat (*.pdf) files. Downloaded documents can be viewed and printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher. Adobe® Systems, Inc. makes Acrobat Reader available as a free download from their website. If you do not have Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher, you can download it at http://www.adobe.com.
